The Pieniny Mountains are one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the Carpathian Chain. They are the highest and most spectacular fragment of a rock mass called the "Pieniny Rock Belt". The most picturesque breakthrough of the Dunajec River runs through them. All the attractions and hiking trails that run through this charming area cannot be mentioned. The Pieniny National Park, which was established in 1932, is the oldest national park in Poland.
