Natural and Astronomical Camp in Kashubia

Astronomical Zone 🔭Nocturnal observations of the sky. We will learn to recognize on the celestial sphere groups of stars forming constellations such as: Great and Little Bear, Orion and Cassiopeia. 🔭A telescope without secrets. We will learn how the telescope works and looks like, and we will perform simple optical experiments. 🌌Space laboratory. Newton's Principles of Dynamics. What is a vacuum? We will also create our own galaxy. ⭐Stars. Why stars shine, what they look like up close, where they are born and how they die. The sun – our star. What kind of star the Sun is, why it shines, how much energy it produces and how safely it can be observed. 🌑All about the moon. How eclipses are formed and the phases of the moon, or why we see its different shapes. We will carry out online and offline simulations of crater formation, after an impact of various sizes of asteroids. 📱Astronomy on your phone. We will get to know great applications for lovers of astronomy and space, thanks to which we will make fascinating discoveries. 🚀Space travel. We will find out what you can fly into space, what the space suit is for, where people have already been and where they plan to fly in the near future. Space 🚀station. How is it built and what is it used for? What does the everyday life of astronauts in space look like? Astronaut 🚀training. Simple balance, strength and dexterity exercises 🌌Solar system. Using cartons, colored paints or markers, we will create a mock-up of the Solar System. Finally, we will paint our own galaxy on milk. Space 🛠️engineering. We will design and build our own Mars rovers using available materials - only our imagination will limit us. 🌑A day on the moon. We will prepare a simulation of a flight into space on our own, we will take with us previously built Mars rovers, we will wear special spacesuits. ✨Planetarium. We will enclose the entire cosmos in one room. With one device, we will look at nearly 60,000 stars and even see a meteor shower. 🌍Journey to the center of the earth. We will learn about the construction of the interior of our planet. We will make a model of it from the salt mass. 🛰️Intergalactic communication. We will prepare to send our messages to aliens, written in a special code. 🗺️Space terrain game. In the footsteps of the solar system Nature Zone ⚡Meteorology. Using our camp meteorological station, we will check what parameters meteorologists use on a daily basis. Is it possible to measure wind speed and direction? What is a barometer? What is the importance of air humidity 🌿Botany. Equipped with magnifying glasses, we will go for a walk around the area and try to find interesting plant species. We will also create our own plant classifier. ⚡What will the weather be like? What heralds a nice aura, and how will you know if the weather is going to be bad? Together, we will look for signs in nature and in the sky that signal a change in the weather. 💨Air. What is it? How is its quality tested? What is wind? Can the air be closed? What is its colour and smell? How does a wind farm work? How does air behave during a tornado? Together we will find answers to these and other questions. 🍃Art in nature. We will take part in art classes based on natural materials (bark, leaves, flowers) and create our works inspired by the surrounding nature. 🌱Journey to the interior of the soil. We will get to know the layers of soil, and then we will try to recreate them in a jar. 🐦Excursion to the Educational Park Zoo - Exotic Kashubia. This is a place full of surprising attractions.
