Future Captain – ADVANCED SAILING

We will start the ⛵cruise at Lake Niegocin. At the beginning of our expedition, participants will undergo training in rescue and safety on a yacht at the Masurian WOPR base, where rescuers will present to young people the most modern rescue equipment that they use in their daily work, as well as familiarize the cruise participants with the functioning of the main Rescue Command Center in Masuria. The purpose of the trip is to provide participants with a huge dose of practical sailing knowledge that will allow them to charter a yacht efficiently and safely start their first independent inland voyage in the future! The ⛵Advanced Sailing Program gives you the perfect opportunity to upgrade your skills before your first solo cruise for those who have already earned a patent or ISSA Inland Skipper certification. Training program: yacht ⛵charter – what the whole process looks like, how to thoroughly check the boat, what to pay attention to and which yacht will best meet our expectations water ⛵rescue and self-rescue – practical knowledge about taking a man from the water, Clinch and Help positions, life raft and yacht pyrotechnics (flares, parachute rockets, smoke floats) ⛵independent operation of the yacht – mooring and putting the mast without the help of the crew ⛵learning to turn the sails and decide when to do it ⛵responding to difficult situations – e.g. going aground or dump truck ⛵basic sail repair – what can help us in crisis situations port ⛵manoeuvres on sails and on the engine – how to enter the port in the event of a failure, what to do in order not to cause a threat cruise ⛵planning – how to adjust the route to the meteorological conditions and experience of the crew, estimation of the budget for the cruise, ⛵navigation and maps – how to navigate safely and use maps effectively on your first solo cruise ⛵knowledge of engine service – how to behave in emergency situations, what is worth knowing about its construction and operation ⛵locks, canals and water infrastructure – what it is for, how to use it safely and not damage the yacht Sailing adventure! 🌊sailing struggles on Niegocin, Jagodne, Tałty, Bełdany and Śniardwy lakes - we will visit the most beautiful ports and wild bindugs 🌊knots – we will learn about some non-standard solutions facilitating functioning on the yacht 🌊regulations – we will update our knowledge of current sailing regulations sailing 🌊theory 🌊bosun skills (trolling, clarification and hoeing of ropes) sailing 🌊rules and etiquette survival 🌊training (safely starting a bonfire, building a hut) first aid 🌊classes - how to deal with accidents on land and in water and how to call for help 🌊visits to the Masurian WOPR base (Giżycko) 🌊shanties and sailing stories - we will learn how to sing shanties and sailing songs In addition, the program: prize ☀️competitions board ☀️games ☀️educational and integration games ☀️fireplace with sausage roasting ☀️team building
