Getting started with sailing

Great location in the heart of the Great Lakes Region - on the Niegocin lake, in the Resort Niegocin resort, with a high standard. The facility also has a great sports base at our disposal. In addition to sails, a super attractive additional program - Paintball, Supy, Archery Tag, Survival! ⛵️Participants are always on the water in life jackets with full protection of instructors on omega yachts and lifeboats with children. Each Participant will spend approximately 20 hours sailing. Please note that in case of inappropriate conditions (e.g. too strong or too weak wind), this number may change. The decision is made each time by the instructor. ⛵️Safety - we attach great importance to making our Participants feel safe on the water, not afraid of water, tippers or wind. Therefore, participants will learn how to safely navigate the yacht, how to behave in unusual situations, during squalls, as well as what to do if the yacht capsizes and how to avoid it. This will not only be theoretical knowledge. Children under the supervision of the Instructor will specially "make mushrooms" to see for themselves that such situations happen and are safe. We start with theory ⛵️learning to tilt - how to prepare your yacht for going out on the water sailing ⛵️theory - what is the wind line, how to sharpen and fall off yacht ⛵️construction and sailing regulations ⛵️learning to navigate the yacht safely ⛵️what to do if the Optimist falls over and how to avoid it - reacting in difficult situations Water activities 💦sailing on Omega yachts - in a crew with an instructor - a helmsman we will get used to tilts, new names and wind directions 💦work in the crew - everyone will be able to try other tasks on the yacht – selecting seal shots, working with the tip, ballasting or independent control. 💦learning how to maneuver - we will learn practically how to make a turn to the wind and with the wind, how to approach the kei, how to moor safely, all under the supervision of instructors 💦sailing on Optimist class yachts - independent exercise of various maneuvers on the water, first in a closed space by the shore. 💦independent sailing - after evaluating the progress by the instructors, the Participants become independent sailors and will sail to the lake on Optimist yachts themselves Water first! 💦SUP- we will swim on a large, well-profiled and very buoyant board with a light paddle. Sup is the perfect introduction to any water sport. 💦Rafts - independent construction completed with a race 💦Pontoons - competitions to swim a certain distance in the shortest possible time 💦Kayaking - a holiday trip on Lake Niegocin Water 💦bikes - trips on the lake are not only relaxation, but also super camp integration. An exciting game between Participants using innovative pneumatic markers. During the classes, we provide special clothing, protective masks, markers and paint balls. 🏹Archery Tag. A team game where participants shoot from bows and protect themselves behind terrain obstacles trying to defeat the opposing team. Of course, the arrows are finished with soft and safe sponges, and the participants are equipped with masks. 🏹Forest Survival. Basic Survival Techniques, Shack Construction, Tracking, Focal Stacks, and Field Orientation. INO 🏹classes. Learning how to use the map and compass, i.e. introduction to the first orientation events.
